The Women’s Research Center and FCTL are pleased to announce that the spring 2012 book club selection will be, “Mama, PhD: Women Write about Motherhood and Academic Life” by Elrena Evans and Caroline Grant (Rutgers University Press). Not surprisingly, the book describes the positives and challenges of the career path we have chosen (with a wry sense of humor). We will be meeting four times during the semester to discuss the book while eating our brown-bag lunches. The book is divided into 4 parts and at each gathering, we will focus on one part, starting with part 1. We have purchased 4 copies of the book. If you would like to borrow one, please let us know.
All dates are Fridays, Time is Noon – 1 PM and location is FCTL Conference Room.
