UCF's Housing and Residence Life invites faculty and staff to serve as Move-In Ambassadors during one of the most exciting and memorable days of the year: Move-In Day! Move-In Ambassadors welcome and help move new and returning students into our 10 on-campus housing communities on Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18. Serving as a Move-in Ambassador is a great way to meet students and help them settle into their new residential communities. Move-In Ambassadors can register to volunteer for two hours between 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
You may register for one of the following volunteer positions:
- Movers: Greet new students and their families, help unload vehicles, lift and carry suitcases and boxes, and move students into their housing community.
- Greeters: Greet students and their families, handout bottled water and popsicles, answer questions about UCF, and help students feel at home.
- Campus Wayfinders: Provide campus directions and information to students and families using the UCF Move-in mobile app, campus maps and HRL resources. Volunteers are asked to use their personal mobile devices.
Additional details, instructions and resources will be provided to Move-In Ambassadors at the beginning of each shift. If you are interested in serving as a Move-in Ambassador, please visit: http://ucf.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ekXbpJP48CbvyG9.
HRL's mission is to provide students living in university housing with safe, well-maintained facilities and programs that are conducive to student learning and success. As a part of living on campus, residents will become active, engaged and productive global citizens.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact HRL at email@example.com.
