Research brown-bag presentations will be hosted by the CPNM on most Wednesdays September 19 – November 28, 2018. School of Public Administration faculty will share early-stage research projects. Presentations will be delivered starting at 12:00 p.m., with discussion to follow. Feel free to bring your lunch. HPA II 247 is reserved 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. On October 17th, the presentation will be in HPA I 304.
On September 19th, join Drs. Gregg Buckingham and Daniel Seigler as they present, "Using personalized learning to meet students’ individual needs."
Buckingham and Seigler will discuss their efforts to utilize this Webcourses tool to personalize learning for students in their courses. The tool encourages students to work at their own pace, reflect on their strong and weak points of understanding, and, potentially, spend more time on applying content rather than memorizing. Both faculty are working with an IRB-approved protocol.
