What does the word Veteran mean to you? What does a veteran look like to you? When and how do you celebrate our veterans? At the University of Central Florida, there are over 1,300 student veterans from all walks of life. The student veteran panel is designed to provide insight on the who are veterans are and what it means to them to be veteran friendly. This two-hour discussion will look at their experiences, dispel rumors and stereotypes of a student veteran, and offer insight on what it means to be student veteran friendly.
