UCF's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program will host its annual student research presentation event on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Classroom Building II, Room 207, on the UCF campus in Orlando.
The event will highlight the work of third-year DPT students and include 12, 15-minute research presentations and poster sessions.
Students will present on a variety of topics, such as
- muscle deterioration following short-term limb immobilization
- the impact of a modified ride on car on participation and play (UCF Go Baby Go! initiative)
- an innovative intergenerational physical activity program (Grow and Play initiative)
- the impact of the Movement to Music program on mobility and balance among older adults with dementia
