Join us for Getting to the Heart of the Matter: Integrating SEL into Literacy Instruction, as part of UCF's Literacy Symposium Express series.

To support the needs of PreK-12 educators during this unprecedented time, the UCF Literacy Symposium is offering an Express virtual event on Literacy Engagement and Socio-Emotional Learning for educators, parents, literacy friends, and advocates. This series of timely, live, interactive, and professional learning sessions will be offered virtually each month for free to registered participants.

Space is limited, so register to attend

Session Description: This presentation builds on the SEL core competencies from CASEL and links those competencies directly to specific best practices in literacy. Participants will engage in collaborative conversation that utilizes teaching practices that exemplify how best to focus on SEL while simultaneously providing rich literacy instruction.
