SBA Workshop: Federal Small Business Certifications Managed by SBA

Wednesday, March 10, 2021 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This presentation provides an understanding of the various certifications impacted by SBA and discussion of eligibility criteria and the application process.

To aid your business to make effective connections with the government your business should obtain the proper certifications, if available. SBA small business certifications document a special capability or status that will help your small business compete in the federal marketplace. Certifying your small business concern can help you successfully compete for government contracts.

To ease access and understanding of the certifications available, the presentation is divided in modules and participants can access each module at these given times:

1:00-2:15 p.m., Overview and 8(a) Business Development Program

2:15-3:00 p.m., HUBZONE Contracting Program

3:00-3:45 p.m., WOSB Contracting Program

3:45-4:00 p.m., SDVOSB Contracting Program and Summary
