In November, the Department of Defense introduced us to “CMMC 2.0”, the latest piece of the DoD’s puzzle to improve the cybersecurity practices in the country’s supply chain. As we start the new year, we thought it would be helpful to bring back Fernando Machado to share the latest changes in CMMC 2.0 and demonstrate how contractors can accurately scope their environments for a CMMC level 1 self-assessment. Fernando is a CMMC Provisional Assessor and Candidate CMMC 3rd Party Assessment Organization and recently recognized by POTUS with the “President’s Volunteer Service Award” for his work with the CMMC-AB Standards Industry Working Group.
