Meet the MVSC Staff, Peer Mentors, SCO Assistants, and learn about upcoming programs and events!
The office will offer three sessions to provide an overview of our office:
- 11:30 a.m.: VA Educational Benefits 101 - session designed to educate students, faculty, and staff on the difference between the Veteran Administration and the Military and Veteran Student Center relating to benefits. We will provide basic information regarding chapter benefits and when to refer students to our office.
- 12:30 p.m.: Military and Veteran Trivia: Play a little game to see how much you actually know about the US Armed Forces and learn interesting information about the military. Door prizes for those who participate!
- 1:30 p.m.: Student Services Showcase: Designed for faculty, staff, and students to learn more about the services the Office of Military and Veteran Student Success offers. Upcoming programming, and how to potentially collaborate with our office.
We will have snacks including popcorn and a coffee bar! Door prizes such as T-Shirts, bags, and other fun items will be available. This event is open to the entire UCF Community!
