You Are Invited to the CCIE Distinguished Lecture Series

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Terri Pigott, Distinguished University Professor in the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University, as part of our Distinguished Lecture Series.

Lecture Title:
Using Evidence to Shape Policy: The Role of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

Abstract:
A critical step in any policy decision is the use of high-quality evidence and a careful assessment of the current knowledge base. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses provide essential tools for synthesizing research, identifying gaps, and informing practice across multiple disciplines. In this lecture, Dr. Pigott will share examples of how systematic reviews have guided policy and practice and offer insights into how findings from meta-analyses can be effectively communicated to optimize their use in decision-making.

We invite faculty, students, and members of the academic community to join us for this engaging and thought-provoking presentation.
