Academic Advancement Programs invites you to this Welcome Wednesday session featuring Dr. Angela Vergara, Lecturer, Sociology Undergraduate Director, and Social Sciences Program Director from the UCF Department of Sociology. This workshop will help students learn how to build meaningful professional connections to support their graduate school journey. Participants will explore strategies for networking effectively with faculty, peers, and professionals, both online and in-person. The session will also cover tips for developing a strong personal brand, making lasting impressions, and leveraging networking opportunities for academic and career advancement. A Q&A segment will provide attendees the chance to ask questions and receive guidance tailored to their own networking goals.
