This session will explore examples of strong Specific Aims pages to help demonstrate best practices in developing an impactful Specific Aims page. A brief overview of the NIH review process, pros and cons of communicating with NIH program manager before proposal submission, discussion of budget, developing the evaluation/assessment plan, common mistakes to avoid, potential limitations researchers will encounter, and best practices for winning an NIH award will also be discussed.
