ThingLink Scenario-Builder: Crafting Interactive Learning Adventures

Monday, June 22, 2026 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Update: We wanted to let you know that today’s ThingLink Scenario Builder: Crafting Interactive Learning Adventures workshop has been cancelled. We apologize for the last-minute cancellation and inconvenience. The session has been rescheduled for Monday July 6th at 1:30PM, and we hope you’ll be able to join us then. If you can attend, then no further action is necessary as your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend, please let us know.

Explore ThingLink's scenario-based learning tool to create immersive role-playing activities, escape rooms, decision trees, and more! Follow along with a live demo for creating these scenarios and syncing them to your Webcourses@UCF grade book.

In this workshop, you'll learn to:

  • navigate the Scenario Builder interface and identify the purpose of different block types and workflow options.
  • design interactive learning scenarios such as escape rooms, role-playing activities, decision trees, and guided presentations.
  • integrate multimedia, external resources, and assessment questions into ThingLink scenarios to support student engagement.
  • share and implement scenarios in Webcourses@UCF for graded or non-graded activities and review learner analytics and responses.

This workshop is limited to faculty, staff and GTA's only.
