Hep A Vaccination Event

Orlando has seen an increase in HEP-A cases.

HEPATITIS A is a very contagious liver infection caused by the Hepatitis A virus
(HAV). It is usually transmitted by the fecal-oral route, either through person to person
contact or consumption of contaminated food or water. Hepatitis A is preventable.

Student Health Services & Wellness and Health Promotion Services have partnered with OCHD to provide this important vaccine for free to UCF and its community.
