Have you heard about mindfulness and want to learn more? Have you experienced the benefits of mindfulness practices and want to meet some likeminded individuals? Join the Recreation and Wellness Center and Wellness and Health Promotion Services for the first annual Mindfulness Retreat at Lake Claire.
For several hours in the morning of March 1, we will offer opportunities for you to learn more about the restorative properties of mindfulness and how to utilize them in your life. Practices will be both active and passive, and will include opportunities like a group yoga flow, a forest bathing session, guided imagery meditation, and loving-kindness meditation.
Registration is not required, and participants must be current UCF students.
