National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week: Naloxone Demonstration

Tuesday, March 22, 2022 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week is held March 21-27 and WHPS will be holding various events throughout the week dedicated to sharing facts about drugs, alcohol, and addiction. Naloxone is a potentially lifesaving medication designed to help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose in minutes. Since most opioid overdoses occur in the home and are most often witnessed, knowing how to use naloxone properly could save lives. Join WHPS, Student Health Services, and UCF PD on the South Patio of the Student Union to learn more about naloxone, its benefits, and how to possibly safe a life.
