Attachment Styles: Understanding Relational Anxiety

Thursday, July 20, 2023 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All humans experience anxiety in relationships; we're wired for connection as a means of staying safe for survival. Attachment Theory was developed to help us better understand the behaviors we use to respond to that anxiety and to help us manage the stress and insecurity that comes with close relationships. This workshop will provide a broad overview of the different attachment styles, and give the strategies and skills to help increase understanding of your own attachment style and move towards more secure attachment.

This workshop is part of the Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) Well-Being Online Workshop (WOW) series. To learn more about CAPS and other workshops, please visit caps.sdes.ucf.edu.
