The Field of Memories-Be Aware Show You Care Flag Exhibit is a powerful and poignant visual display representing the 1,100 suicides that occur on U. S. college campuses each year. Students participate in the event by personalizing a flag to show their support, their increased awareness; or to honor a memory of someone lost to suicide. So many people each year are impacted by someone in their life either contemplating or dying by suicide. Students (Staff and Faculty) can come by and share a message of hope (on a flag) to those who are struggling with depression and who may have contemplated suicide. This exhibit represents hope and healing.
It will be at the Downtown campus, between DPAC and the Paramore Garage, from 11am-1pm.
