Adventure Race 2026: Escape Jumanji

For 24 years, UCF Outdoor Adventure’s Adventure Race has challenged teams to think fast, work together, and push beyond their comfort zones. In 2026, the game evolves.

Adventure Race 2026: Escape Jumanji transforms the OA Adventure Race into a campus-wide strategy game inspired by Jumanji, The Amazing Race, and Survivor. Teams of four will navigate UCF’s campus, solving riddles and unlocking locations where they’ll face a mix of physical, mental, and teamwork-based challenges. Each completed challenge earns points, and how you choose to play matters just as much as how fast you move.

This is not just a race to the finish.
Teams must decide:

• How to maximize their points in each challenge
• How to manage time and energy
• When to push forward and when to pivot

Some challenges may test strength and endurance. Others will reward communication, creativity, and problem-solving under pressure. The teams that escape Jumanji won’t be the fastest - they’ll be the smartest, most strategic players.

How to win:
The team with the highest total points at the end of the game wins. Strategy, adaptability, and teamwork will determine who escapes.

All participants will receive a free giveaways and be entered to win prizes at the finish. This event is free and open to currently enrolled UCF students.

• Cost: Free

Registration

• Opens: Sunday, February 1 at 12:00 AM
• Deadline: Thursday, February 20 at 5:00 PM
• Teams must register in advance. No walk-ups permitted.

Captains’ Meeting

• Mandatory for all team captains
• Friday, February 20 at 5:00 PM
• Location: RWC Lake Claire Recreation Area

Eligibility

• Open to currently enrolled UCF students only
• All team members must be registered in IMLeagues and will be verified
• Faculty, staff, alumni, and non-students are not eligible
