Diversity Workshop: Secular and Religious Minority Awareness

Saturday, November 4, 2017 9 a.m. to noon

Facilitator: Tee Rogers

The more diverse we become, the greater is the potential for faith-related stress and conflict in academic, professional, and social spaces. Through interactive discussions and games we explore the experiences of, and misconceptions about, secular and religious minority individuals. This helps us to understand the challenges potentially being faced by friends, family, teammates, colleagues – or even a stranger in a store. We also discuss skills and resources that empower us to create inclusive spaces around us.

Register through MyUCF under Employee Self Service. Course number DIV224.

Students and community members email diverse@ucf.edu to reserve your seat.
