This 5 week course is designed to provide students with the practical skills need to effectively teach different formats of group exercise classes. Concepts will include group fitness class safety, musicality, class design and formatting, choreography, modifications, and rhythmical muscle toning movement to develop aerobic fitness. Concepts taught will include proper warm-up and cool down techniques, class progression, stretching, cueing/transitioning, and heart rate monitoring.
Fit Course: Group Exercise will meet on Monday evenings from 5pm-7pm in the RWC Multipurpose Room.
