Creating Self-Compassion

Thursday, March 14, 2024 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Self-compassion is the practice of treating yourself the way you treat your friends when they are having a rough day or notice something they don't like about themselves. This workshop will give you examples of how you can comfort and care for yourself during moments of hardship. We will review what exactly self-compassion is, highlight some of the research findings on it, and provide examples of ways to start using more self-compassion in your life.

This workshop is part of the Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) Well-Being Online Workshop (WOW) series! Learn about CAPS and other workshops.
