Each year, the Focused Inquiry & Research Experience (FIRE) conference showcases medical student research. The plenary speaker this year will be William DeCampli, M.D., Ph.D., chief of pediatric cardiovascular surgery at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and professor of surgery at the UCF College of Medicine.
