Computer Science and Center for Research in Computer Vision
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) will soon be upgrading to multicore processors. This presentation describes the challenges of writing software in this environment. I give examples of software used on JSF, namely Data Fusion and Track Publishing, and consider how these tasks might be improved using parallel algorithms and lock-free data structures.
