  • Half Marathon Training

    Recreation and Wellness Center

    This 12 week half marathon running program will prepare participants for the OUC Half Marathon in December. The training group meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7am outside the RWC. No previous half marathon experience is required, however previous fitness experience is recommended. Our pacers will be running under a 15 minute mile to comply with OUC's race pace requirement. ...

  • Women on Weights

    Recreation and Wellness Center

    Join female trainers from the RWC for this 3 weeks program that promotes resistance training to females. The RWC trainers will demonstrate how to properly utilize equipment around the facility, giving females the knowledge and confidence to work out on the weight floors safely.   • Cumberland Island Backpacking (Recurring Event)

    Recreation and Wellness Center

    Come with OA and explore Cumberland Island, Georgia's largest and southernmost barrier island and home to over 9,800 acres of congressionally designated Wilderness. Here we will backpack through pristine maritime forests and wide marshes, while exploring the history of the island.
