Wind players and percussionists may be added on occasion but should be a member of the Concert Band to be invited. No audition is required to become a member.

Events at UCFJazz Ensemble II is a standard instrumentation big band geared toward training music education majors in the jazz idiom and developing skills in applied jazz performance. The group performs a varied repertoire of standard literature as well as new pieces composed and arranged for big band. The ensemble performs locally and regionally several times per semester.

Events at UCFThe University of Central Florida Orchestra program consists of two ensembles serving nearly 100 students. The program is designed to give a compelling and rigorous musical experience for string, brass, woodwind and percussion players in the university community, as well as pre-professional training for music education and performance majors.
